AVA’S HEART FOUNDATION
Ava’s Heart Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable organization dedicated to providing resources and refuge that insurance does not cover to transplant patients and their families, who are unable to access or afford needed treatments and care. Integral to our mission is to raise awareness and to educate the public as to the challenges families face, both pre and post transplant, and to promote organ donation.

Addiction, mental illness and homelessness destroy lives and weaken families, therefore Community Human Services (CHS) provides people of all ages with the tools and support to overcome these challenges and create lasting change in their lives.
Festa ITALIA
Festa Italia Foundation, Inc. is a local non-profit public benefit organization whose main goals are to promote the Italian heritage, tradition and culture, to honor the fishermen of Monterey, California and to educate the public on how the Italian fisherman have contributed to the heritage of our community. Festa Italia Foundation, Inc. plans and implements an annual celebration known as the Monterey Fisherman's Festival (formerly Festa Italia Santa Rosalia Festival). The festival is a three-day event which showcases Italian arts, food and music. The organization promotes and sponsors several other annual events to raise funds so that each year the Fisherman's festival can be presented to the community free of admission. The organization’s fundraising efforts also benefit various local organizations and provide scholarships as well. Each year over $5,000 in scholarship money is awarded to local students.
